When you establish lock to the typographical baseline grid on the format level, you may need to disable grid lock in certain body styles, e.g. column headlines, multi-line bylines and similar. The reason to do it is that their leading may be different of the body leading.
1.In EdAdmin4, locate the Style libraries listing.
2.Double-click the style library where the style is stored, and then in the Edit Style Library dialog box, double-click the style where you want to set up the baseline grid.
3.In the Style Commands box, add >grid<.
4.Click OK to close all open dialog boxes, and then ensure that uses refresh the formats in their Freds and Teds (typically by pressing F5).
Notes
•This procedure is carried out in the EdAdmin4, and it is subject to permissions.
•The typographical baseline grid exclusion defined on the style level is effective in all paragraphs which use that style, unless overridden by direct tags or by means of the Paragraph dialog box.
•The typographical baseline grid affects only texts flowing in a linked or local geometry. It does nothing on texts without any geometry.
