Refreshing pages on opening

Build 1501 on 14/Nov/2017  This topic last edited on: 8/Jan/2016, at 17:18

When you open a page, Fred4 loads the latest page version from database. Typically, all the elements of the page will be shown in their latest status.

An exception are images used on more than one page. In such conditions it is possible that when page loads, the image is already in the cache, because it has been loaded together with another page - and in this case Fred4 does not load it again. Also,  have in mind that on page opening, on a layer that is opened for reading, Fred4 will display real images for any dummy images, but this update state is not saved, since it is not possible to save read-only layer. Thus, it will be performed again and again, on each page opening.

Further details are available in the Refreshing and updating images chapter.
