In a multiuser environment, sometimes you will have to refresh pages opened in your Fred4. Such action may be required in following conditions:
•You opened a page in read-only, because another user edits it, so now you want to see the latest saved version of the page.
•You want to reload the ads, because the ads dept reimported the ad stack.
•You want to review the latest saved version of the linked stories/article elements that other users are editing in Ted4.
•You want to reload and refresh all the images, also on the locked layers.
•You want to reload a master pages, since another user modified it.
Therefore, a page refresh may include:
•Refresh of all page layers.
•Reload of all stories and articles text elements, linked to that page.
•Reload of all formats of all stories and articles text elements, linked to that page.
•Reload of all images (refresh and update) on the layers that can be checked out. Note: this works only on the layers you can check-out. If a layer cannot be checked out, the images cannot be reloaded/refreshed.
Further details related to images are available in the Refreshing and updating images chapter.
Note: the refresh is automatic if you close and reopen the page.
