SYMPTOMS

The fonts look incorrect, letters overlapping on screen or there are other errors.

CAUSE

Wrong screen font assigned during import. It happens often when importing fonts from AFM files - importer fails to establish the correct relationship with screen fonts. It may happen also with other font formats, especially if the fonts were regenerated by third-party packages, such as Fontographer or similar, and do not have correct unique font id.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, open font in the Font Manager of the EdAdmin4. For each imported AFM font, double-check in the Font Manager, which video font is assigned to it.
