Create an article in Fred4 with text and image elements

1.Create and select appropriate frames and image placeholders on a page.

2.On the Articles menu, click New, or on the File menu, point to New, and then click Article.

3.In the Name box on the New article dialog box, enter the unique name for the new article.

4.Select folder for the new article, according to your privileges.

5.Enter other properties, if available.

6.Click OK to store the article and all created elements in the database.

At this point, the new article became the "current article," its name appears in the status bar, and all the selected frames and image dummies are automatically linked to it. Moreover, Fred4 automatically creates and adds all the required elements to the article.

Notes

When creating frames and image placeholders the element types are assigned automatically. Should this not happen, see Selecting frame type
