The supplemental lexicon for all languages is optional, and spell checking will function correctly if it is not present or empty. If present, it gets loaded on spelling in any language.

The supplemental lexicon for all languages is good place to store the proper names, geographical names and similar, which are not available in the main lexicon.

The supplemental lexicon is to be deployed on each GN4 computer, in the same folder where the applications are. See Deploying main and supplemental lexicons.

Its name is sup.tlx. It is an ASCII file, and systems administrators can manually add words in it, by means of any suitable text editor. For rules, see Words.
