This topic describes how to select an edition number, e.g. first, second, third edition etc. For the instruction on how to set the edition issue number, see Change the edition issue number.

To change the edition number

1.On the Editions main tab in Fred, open an edition.

2.On the Edit menu, click Edition properties, to display the Edition Data dialog box.

3.Click the Number field, and then select one of the predefined edition numbers from the list.

Note

You cannot type an edition number, but just select it from the list.

Important

Save the edition to make this change visible to other users.
