Use Back4 to receive and import wire stories in the system, through its data sources (queues).
Typically, you will create, per queue:
1.A hot-folder (input folder) to store the incoming content and to be polled by a Back4 queue. See About input (hot) folders.
2.An error folder, where the queue will move the content it cannot process for any reason.
3.An optional park folder, where the queue will copy the original content after processed it.
4.A data source to poll the folder. Data source links to a data source template that contains a workflow to process and a XSLT to convert the content. You can use existing data source templates, workflows and XSLTs or create new ones.
The step-by-step creation of workflows and XSLT files for wire stories import is explained in Create a wire stories import workflow, that also contains the chapter Analyzing input content to transform with several examples of XML and plain-text sources.
