SIDEBAR PALETTES

Dock palettes in the sidebar

On the Window menu, point to Palettes Sidebar and then select a palette to dock in the sidebar, or click Open All Palettes. Note: active palettes have a tick mark before the name.

Expand sidebar if hidden or collapse it if displayed

Click the Sidebar expander button.

Collapse/Expand a single palette in the Sidebar

Double-click the title bar of the palette.

Float a palette

Right-click a palette title bar, and then select Float. To add another palette to the floating one, repeat the same step. The palettes appear as stacked one below each other.

Tab stacked palettes

Right-click the title bar of the stacked palettes and then select Change Display Mode.

Make changes in a palette

Enter new values and then click the confirmation icon.

To change a value in steps

Click the field, and then rotate the mouse wheel. This work on most of fields.

OTHER PALETTES

To display other palettes, on the Window menu, point to Palettes, and then select a palette. Some palettes may be dimmed – those palettes are available only in the specific context.
