The GN4 Ted4 tutorial introduces you to a basic and intermediate usage of Ted4, through number of tasks than include getting know the workspace, and basic operations: creating and locating content, editing text, formatting content, etc.

For text editing, you can use the Articles main tab in Ted4 or Fred4: the operations are identical. Moreover, to edit text when dealing with pages you can use the Pages main tab in Fred4 (see GN4 Fred4 Tutorial).
