Select spell checker language

1.On the Edit menu, click Preferences

2.On the Spell checker tab, in the Language for background... box, select the language to use in the background spell check.

3.Check either the Display spell check error in the source window box or the Display spell check error in the WYSIWYG window.

Add words to a custom dictionary during spelling check

When GN4 finds a possible spelling error, but the term is indeed correct, and you want to add it to the ignore list, to add it to the language specific dictionary, click Add. Lang, otherwise click Add.

It is not possible to write a word in the Spelling error dialog box and to add it to the dictionary. Please be aware that if you type a correction, and click Add, or Add.lang, the original, and not the corrected word is added to the dictionary!

Edit spelling exceptions

On the Edit menu, point to Spelling, click Edit personal exceptions and then edit words.
