If you change your mind or make a mistake, you can undo recent changes. You can undo or redo up to several hundred of the most recent actions. The maximum number of undoes is user-configurable, with no upper limit (except the available memory).
The available undo actions are discarded when you close a page, or when you exit the program.
To undo the most recent change, choose Edit > Undo [action]. (You cannot undo certain actions, such as scrolling, or changing formats).
To redo an action you just undid, choose Edit > Redo [action].
To stop a change that Fred4 isn’t finished processing (for example, if you see a progress bar), press the Esc key.
To close a dialog box without applying changes, click Cancel.
