Copy and move blocks of text

To copy a block of text in Ted4/Fred4        

1.Highlight the text you want to copy (including the paragraph mark).

2.On the Edit menu, click Copy.

3.Click where you want to paste the copied block.

4.On the Edit menu, click Paste. To paste as plain text, click Paste text only.

To move a block of text in Ted4/Fred4        

1.Highlight the text you want to move (including the paragraph mark).

2.On the Edit menu, click Cut.

3.Click where you want to paste the copied block.

4.On the Edit menu, click Paste. To paste as plain text, click Paste text only.

The clipboard works also between two sessions of Ted4 or Fred4. So you can connect with two Freds to two different systems, and copy & paste between them.

In the Articles Editor on User Browser

Do one of the following:

To copy highlighted text, hold CTRL while dragging it elsewhere, or click the Copy icon, and then click where you want to paste it and then click Paste icon.

To move highlighted text, drag it elsewhere, or click the Cut icon, and then click where you want to paste it and then click Paste icon.
