Text formatting of default type affects all text except the parts which are formatted either as global, or on the paragraph level, or on character level. It is not based on GNML tags but on default attributes of the applied format. The default formatting is applied by assigning a GNML format to a text.
Default formatting of character type includes:
font and size: | font, size, horizontal scale |
type style: | bold, italic, bold italic, blind, underline, small caps, lowercase, uppercases, color and tint |
specials: | hyphenation rules |
Default formatting of paragraph type includes:
leading & grid: | leading, lock to baseline grid |
vertical position: | space above and below paragraph, variable space above paragraph, top compensation, area jump |
horizontal position: | indents: first, left and right |
justification: | hyphenation status, words spaceband, column width, line spacing |
specials: | indivisible paragraphs |
|
Default formatting is global, and thus affects entire text.
