Check if the alert preference is ticked in your Ted/Fred. See Enable receiving of automatic alerts in Ted or Fred. If it is not, tick it, restart Ted/Fred and then see if you will receive alerts. To receive alerts, other users have to change the content you are viewing, and if the content is a page or an article, they have to save changes to generate an alert. If the alert preference is ticked and you are positive that other users are modifying and saving changes of the content you are viewing, but you still do not receive alerts, perform the following checks: •Look at the IIS server events logs and see if there are errors. •Enable logging of alerts and then look at the log and see if there are errors. •Use the debug view to debug alerts on the specific GN4 workstation. •Use cmd4 to test alerts. |
