This error may occur on start of GN4 applications after you loaded in the database a configuration file 'item1', that had incorrect syntax or other errors,or edited a configuration item in EdAdmin4 and saved changes but the syntax was incorrect . In such case, the error 'item2' will be 'There is an error in the XML document'.
To correct this error
1.If you have a correct configuration file, load it in the database as explained in Re-importing configuration file in the database after making changes. Restart GN4 applications.
2.If you do not have a correct configuration file, first export the file from the srv4 config -out exportedfilename -name configfilename, open the file, correct the error, and then reimport it by srv4 config -in exportedfilename -name configfilename.
