WYSIWYG pane "as-on-page"

Build 1501 on 14/Nov/2017  This topic last edited on: 17/Mar/2016, at 16:50

The WYSIWYG pane in Dispose as on page modality, shows a linked article exactly as it appears on page, except for overset. To enable such view, on the Edit menu, select Preferences, and then select Dispose as on page.

Showing overset

The overset is shown in Ted4 under the last frame (while it is hidden on the page in Fred4).

Rulers and line marker

You can show in the WYSIWYG pane horizontal and vertical rulers and line marker. To enable such display, on the Edit menu, select Preferences, and then select Dispose as on page. Select Rulers. Select Show area borders. To change the measurement unit on the rulers, on the Measures tab, select an unit in Horizontal and Vertical.

The line marked (triangle on the border of the vertical ruler), marks the justification quality of the current line: black triangle on gray background means that the line is justified within justification specifications, black triangle on the white background means that the line is justified as too empty; white triangle on the gray background means that the line is justified as overfull.

Bug fixes

Prior to the build 1895, images belonging to jump articles did not display on the correct positions when Dispose as on page was turned on. This is fixed in 1.6.1895.x.
