Fit by the default fitting preset

Bring the cursor in the line of a paragraph which is longer than needed.

On the Tools menu, point to Fit, and then click Fit paragraph.

Select preset and fit

Bring the cursor in the line of a paragraph which is longer than needed.

Hold SHIFT while on the Tools menu, pointing to Fit, and then clicking Fit paragrah.

Notes

The above functionality is based on the existence of at least two predefined fitting presets, with the names equal to the head type name (default 'head') and body type name (default 'body'). If such names do not exist in among your fitting sets, create them.

If the paragraph was already copy-fitted, the warning is displayed that allows you to:

Press Yes to reapply the same fitting.
This is useful after you changed the wording and want to reapply fitting.

Press No to try to fit more.
This will work only if actually it is possible to fit more, otherwise it will leave text as-is.

Hold SHIFT when selecting this option from the menu, and you'll be prompted to select a fitting preset.
