The Formatting Tables chapter describes how to format tables.

Use the standard text editing palettes to format text within a table — in the same way as you format text outside a table.

In addition, four main dialog boxes help you format the table itself: Table, Column, Row and Cell.

Use these dialog boxes to change the appearance of the table border and fill, to format table rules, and to set-up the vertical justification.
