You may want to create a new typography when you need to add a new, typographically completely different title to your system, and you want to control the access of users of other titles.
There are following mandatory steps to perform when doing so:
.In EdAdmin4, in the Editorial Configuration section, click Typographies.
.On the Actions menu, click New and then enter an unique name for the new typography.
.Write an optional description.
.Set the access permissions: Full control for Administrators, View for Everyone and Edit In or Change In for page designers.
.Click Colors, and then click Upload next to the color profile - this will actually create four default colors CMYK. You can also select another color profile if the default one is not appropriate.
.You may want also to paste copyfits, wordestimate and ends (arrows) data on the designated tabs - or you can do it later.
.You may also set defaults for image handling (since 2.3), or you can do it later.
.Click OK, and then in the Editorial Objects section, click Title, and create a new title and select the new typography.
.In the Editorial Configuration section, click Formats, and then export basic formats from another title, and then import in the new title (note: exporting formats includes the style libraries).
.In the Editorial Configuration section, click Font layouts, and then export basic font layouts from another title, and then import them in the new title.
.In the Editorial Configuration section, click Fonts, and then export Arial font from another title, and then import it in the new title. Add more fonts.
.In the Editorial Configuration section, click Geometry presets, and then on the Action menu, click New and create a new default preset - you must have one otherwise you won't be able to create new editions.
.In the Editorial Objects section, click Page Zones, and then create the zone named - (minus).
.In the Editorial Objects section, click Page Sections, and then create the section named - (minus).
.In the Editorial Objects section, click Regions, and then make sure there are regions Print and Web for the new title.
.Add to the Print region at least the zone - of the new title.
.In the Editorial Objects section, click Edition numbers, and then create at least one edition number, e.g. (1).
.If the new title is in the different language, download and save spell checker dictionaries in the BIN folder (and add them also to the ClickOnce package).
.In the Application configuration > Client applications, edit GlobalConfig and add entries for the new spelling languages. Remember to recycle the application pool.
.Export from another title, and then import hyphenation rules to the new title.
