Refresh and update images

1.Select one or more images (on the same layer).

2.On the Images menu, select Update Selected Images, or Update all Images.

Set up the image update tolerance (in versions 2.3 or newer)

1.Run EdAdmin4, and then click Typographies.

2.Double click a typography.

3.On the ImageHandle tab, in the Image resize limit (%) at refresh enter a suitable value, e.g. 5%.
This is the resizing that Fred4 may apply on dummy images, or images to be updated, if their dimensions are different of the dimensions of dummy or existing updated image.

4.Select Use isotropic at image refresh, to keep the images proportions.

1.On the Edit menu, click Preferences, and then in the Tolerance enter a suitable value, e.g. 5%.
This is the resizing that Fred4 may apply on dummy images, or images to be updated, if their dimensions are different of the dimensions of dummy or existing updated image.

2.Select Isotropic, to keep the images proportions.

Enable images refresh on page loading or refresh

1.On the Edit menu, click Preferences.

2.Under Automatic refresh, select Automatically update images on refresh and on load.

3.Optionally, select Also on read-only layers.
