On the Pages main tab in Fred4 you can open one or more pages to edit. To open pages, use the Pages navigator.

To open more pages

1.On the navigator of the Pages main tab, click the Browse pane.

2.In Title, select a title.

3.In Edition, select an edition.

4.Do one of the following:

•Select more pages, right-click a page and then select Open in multi-page, or simply drag pages from the listing to the page tab. See the Default opening mode for pages to learn how to change the default opening.

•To add a page to an existing tab (multi-page view), right-click it, and then select Open in multi-page, or simply drag page from the listing to the page tab.

•To open more selected pages each on a separate tab, right-click and then select Open in separate tabs.

•To open pages for viewing (as read-only), right-click and then select Open for View Only.

•To open another page in a separate tab, but tiled vertically with existing tab, right-click and then select Open Vertically Tiled or Open Horizontally Tiled.
