In a headline + 2 legs structure as this one (2 columns wide and 6 modules high):
where TOOL attributes for the headline box are X=ATL, Y=ATL, W=PRO, H=FIX, and X and W (for each leg) are as shown in the examples, produce following results, when a frame od 3 columns wide and 6 modules high is used as the replacement target:
A/ first second
X ATL ABR
W ATL ABR
The headline width adapts to the target size (3 columns). The width of the legs remain unchanged, but they right leg moves following the width of the headline. A gap is created between legs. If the replacement target would be 4 columns wide, the gap would be 2 columns wide.
B/ first second
X ATL ATL
W ATL ABR
The headline width adapts to the target size (3 columns). The width of the first leg remains unchanged, but the right leg widens following the width of the headline. No gap is created between legs. If the replacement target would be 4 columns wide, the 2nd leg would be 3 columns wide.
C/ first second
X ATL ATL
W ABR ABR
The headline width adapts to the target size (3 columns). The width of the first leg follows the width of the headline, and the right leg remains unchanged. No gap is created between legs. If the replacement target would be 4 columns wide, the 1nd leg would be 3 columns wide.
D/ first second
X ATL PRO
W PRO PRO
The headline width adapts to the target size (3 columns). The width of the both legs follows the width of the headline, proportionally. Anyhow, the gutter between legs is wider than the column gutter. If the replacement target would be 4 columns wide, both legs would be 2 columns wide.
E/ first second
X ATL FIX
W FIX FIX
The headline width adapts to the target size (3 columns). The width of the both legs remains unchanged, as their position.
