Every attribute in an object has a name and a type.

Attributes can be mandatory or optional, and they can have default values. It is also possible to define attributes whose value is computed automatically by the system.

You can add custom attributes by means of xxxxExtra sections.

Note: The auto-compute doesn't work for the custom attributes, added in <objectname>Extra section. Instead to use an attribute, add it as an element.
