Database Objects

The content of the GN4 database is organized into ‘objects’. Each object is a self-contained collection of data about something, e.g. a image, a text, a news item, a page etc.

Objects correspond to elements in the schema file, defined by attributes that describe both their data and their metadata.  For example, a image object can have a ‘Name’ attribute specifying the image name, a ‘Width’ attribute specifying the width of the image (in pixel or in another measurement) and so on.
