To stop a non-responding service

1.	In the Task Manager window, identify the filename of the service you want to stop, and read its PID number.

2. Right-click the service and select End task.

Warning

•Before you stop any service, check carefully if there are processes, running on local machine or on other servers that depend on service you are about to stop! See GN4 services dependency.

•If you stop a service without an appropriate preparation of other processes, they may fail without any warning and could not able to recover when you restart a service you've stopped!
