Back4 service

It depends on the IIS service (the one that supports GN4 Web service), and on the SQL service (the one that drives GN4 database). Should you need to stop and restart IIS or SQL service, it would be wise to put in pause Back4 queues (you can put in pause Back4 queues in the Administrative Browser).

IIS service on GN4 server(s)

This is related to the IIS service that handles GN4 Web service. Before stopping IIS service, it would be wise to put in pause Back4 queues (you can put in pause Back4 queues in the Administrative Browser).

IIS service on GNWeb server(s)

This is related to the IIS service that handles GNWeb Web service. Before stopping IIS service, have in mind that the Web preview and the Web publishing on GN4 clients will fail, until IIS service does not come back online.

SQL service on GN4 server(s)

This is related to the SQL service that handles GN4 database. Before stopping SQL service, it would be wise to put in pause Back4 queues (you can put in pause Back4 queues in the Administrative Browser).

SQL service on GNWeb server(s)

This is related to the SQL service that handles GNWeb database. Before stopping SQL service, it would be wise to stop also the IIS service on GNWeb server.
