Short name

The short name of libraries and library objects are shown as defined in the Name field as explained in the Create an object library and Add objects to an object library topics.

Descriptive name

The descriptive name of the libraries is obtained concatenating the name of the title with the library name, and the descriptive name of library object is obtained concatenating the names of title and library with the object name.

Example

In a library 'Shapes' in title 'DN' containing the objects 'Circle' and 'Square' their names are as follow:

•Library 'Shapes': short name 'Shapes', descriptive name 'DN:Shapes'.

•Library object 'Circle': short name 'Circle', descriptive name 'DN:Shapes:Circle'.

•Library object 'Square': short name 'Square', descriptive name 'DN:Shapes:Square'.
