This chapter explains how to install GN4 clients.

Windows XP is not supported by the GN4 version 2.0 or newer.
Windows Vista is not supported by the GN4 version 2.1 or newer.

Important

1.To install GN4 clients, you must have administrative privileges or be able to validate as an administrator.

2.Before you start the installation, close all applications currently running on your system - including other Miles 33 applications, Tera applications, Adobe applications, Microsoft Office applications, and browser windows.  It is also recommended to temporarily turn off virus protection during the installation process.

3.Read first Prepare GN4 clients for better performances and perform the mandatory and recommended operations.

About upgrading from older version of GN4

If you are upgrading from an older version of GN4, you don't need to uninstall the previous version of GN4.

About registering or activating GN4

There is no need to register or activate GN4, and the licenses are set on the server.

About installer

At the present time, there's no installer for automatic install of GN4 client, except through ClickOnce.
