Beacon doesn’t know about spread pages so the plan contains only single pages.

For editorial requirements some pages must be worked as spread (double page) hence the edition’s pages are adjusted manually after the Beacon Ads plan have been imported.

The Beacon import procedure (both manual and background) is taking the GN4 spread page info into consideration when reimporting the Ads plan.

Below is the correct procedure to follow to have the Ads imported correctly into spread pages:

•        Import the Ads plan in order to create the edition

•        Open the edition in Edt4 and change the Master page for the left (even) page of the spread to be a double Master page

•        Delete the right (odd) page of the spread

•        Save the edition

•        Import again the Beacon XML file: the ads that are placed in the beacon right (odd) page (part of the spread) will be automatically placed into the right part of the GN4 spread page.
