You can combine several objects into a group so that they are treated (moved, deleted) as a single unit.
Select one or more objects, on the Edit menu, point to Group/Lock Objects and then do one of the following:
•To group, click Group as objects.
•To ungroup, click Ungroup as objects.
Notes
•When objects are grouped, they are selected together, moved and scaled together. If you change the color, it changes on entire group. You can select corners of grouped objects and change their proportions. Use the polygon tool for that purpose: select the nodes to move and then drag them where you want.
•If you select together a group of objects and another (non grouped) object, you can add it to the group, using the procedure, explained above. But, because Fred4 groups cannot be nested, if you ungroup such group, all the objects will be ungrouped at once.
