In GN4 you can use >writes...< to display any page or edition attribute on a master page. However, the GNML tag scripting, similar to how it was in GN3, can be applied through a combination of auto-computed attributes and VB.Net scripts.

Note: this applies to the GN4 version 1.6.1970.x and newer, and it works only on master pages.
