To run browser from a shortcut

Double-click the browser icon on the desktop or in a menu and wait until it loads. If prompted for the sign-in information (user name and password), enter your name and password.

To run another browser instance on the same computer, or to run browser on another computer with the same sign-in information (user name and password), repeat the above.

Note: there is no way to prevent multiple instances of the browser with the same sign-in information, but it is available for GN4 client applications - see Run more than one instance.

To run the browser by entering an URL

Run a browser and then connect to the URL for the Browser. Example: if your public server name is ABCD.COM, then a valid URL may be http://ABCD.COM/GN4.
