Important

The below command removes all licenses from your GN4 database and creates a new GUID. This operation cannot be undone. Your GN4 system can be put at stake, and possible no user will be able to log on anymore. Moreover, the archiving won't work anymore, unless you create a new self source.

To remove all licenses from database

In the Command prompt window on an installed GN4 server, switch to the folder where srv4 resides and then execute:

srv4 license -clear

Note:

To be executed only on cloned databases because when you use it, it creates a new GUID that requires a new self source. If you forget to create the new self source, archiving will fail with the error:missing source GN4:12987bc3-5343 ...
