Locate a task, as explained in Display tasks, and then spike it.

You can remove a task on the Planning main tab, or on the Articles main tab.

•Planning main tab: Select one or more tasks and then on the Edit menu, click Spike.

•Articles main tab: Right-click one or more tasks and then click Spike Task.

Select one or more tasks and then click Delete in the menu.
