GN4 clients hardware requirements (for Ted4 and Fred4)
•CPU Dual Core high clock speed (Quad core recommended)
•4 GB RAM or more (8 GB RAM recommended)
•Disk space it’s not so relevant because the space occupied by the client GN4 binaries is around 600MB (360MB program files, 230MB help file).
•A dedicated video card with its own memory is recommended, as it performs better than an integrated video card with shared memory. The video card must support the following:
• DirectX version (>= 9.0, recommended 10)
• Video RAM (>= 512MB)
• Pixel shader (version >= 2.0)
• Vertex shader (version >= 2.0)
• Multitexture units (>= 4)
All the above are used to accelerate the WPF used by .NET Framework. When an option is not supported by the GPU the rendering will be software and done by the CPU.
Client computers should use Windows 10, 8.1 or Windows 7. Both 32 and 64 bit OS is supported. Also Window Vista (only before version 2.1) and XP Professional SP2 (only GN4 version 1.6 or older) are supported but the performance will not be as good as on newer Windows versions.
Actually the best performance are on Windows 10.
Windows XP is not supported by the GN4 version 2.0 or newer.
Windows Vista is not supported by the GN4 version 2.1 or newer.

GN4 clients hardware requirements (for browser)
Any operating system, capable to run a standard browser.
Note: on some mobile devices and some browsers, the upload functionality may be disabled. Install a browser Opera-mini, or use - where possible - Windows Phone.
GN4 clients screen resolution
The larger the better. Anyway not less than a FullHD monitor for page designers. Also for web users is recommended a wide screen non less than HD-ready. Ted will fit on any new monitor, even 4:3 monitor.
