Supported OS versions

The OS client versions supported by the GN4 clients are:

•Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8

•Windows 7

The OS server versions supported by the GN4 servers are:

•Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 server or 2008R2 Standard 64bit

•SQL 2012 or 2008 Standard 64bit

Notes

•For the test environment, the GN4 server can run also on OS versions supported for clients, e.g. on laptops etc.

•Since the version 2.0, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and IIS 5 are no longer supported due to Microsoft Framework 4.5+ compatibility restrictions.

Citrix is not required by GN4 - all the applications work over Internet. However, Citrix is supported and GN4 applications will work in Citrix.

Note: depending on the Citrix versions, certain shortcuts in GN4 applications may not work. For example, it was reported that the Alt+Drag on the Pages main tab in Fred4 doesn't work in Citrix on Macintosh.

•Windows Vista, Windows XP

The OS server versions supported by the GN4 servers 1.6 are:

•Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 server or 2008R2 Standard 64bit
