Collections are temporary global or personal set of content.

In a collection, you can story wire or archived stories, wire or archived images, wire or archived audios, wire or archived videos and other documents. You cannot store articles, editorial images, pages or editions in a collection.

Collections allow you to organize content before using it actually, and without duplicating it, especially when dealing with wire content that in a day can reach several thousands entries.

For example, a wire scroller puts in the "News" collection all the wire news that may be interesting for the "News" section. Or, the image editor puts in the "Today" collection all the wire images, or the images, received from collaborators. In that way, the editorial staff works with these pre-selections, instead with all received content, and that increases the work efficiency.

You can manage collections on the Collections navigator on the Shell main tab, or on the Collections main tab.

Unlike clipboard, collections are persistent between sessions.

Actually, the eligible content is: stories, images, audios, videos, packages and documents. You cannot store articles, editorial images etc.
