Preflight of Pages

Before printing, you can perform a quality check, called 'preflight' on the page. Fred4 provides an extensive page preflighting, which includes five tests for text formatting and fitting, six tests for workflow status, three or four tests for page layout, including overlapping, and two tests for color status, all together 16 tests.

The list of tests can be configured, thus, you can set the severity level. You may also allow that pages with certain preflight errors are printed anyway on some devices, while preventing printing for other errors and/or devices.

Moreover, before each printing of a page, Fred4 performs an automatic preflight test for missing fonts.

Preflight can be performed on Pages main tab and Tracking main tab.
