Locate a graphics to place

You can locate graphics to place in various ways. During pre-selection in Fred4 or Ted4, you can preview graphics one-by-one. If you use Navigator to locate graphics, you can preview many graphics at once.

READY GRAPHICS

Ready graphics is in editorial image format.

Locating a ready graphics already in database by name and folder

On the Images menu, click Insert. This assumes you know where the graphics is in a workflow, or the exact name of the graphics element. See To place a graphics by name and folder.

Locating a ready graphics already in database by any word in caption, summary, title, name, folder, type, modified date/time

On the Content navigator of the Pages main tab, in Type, select editorial image, and then enter what you want in other fields. See To place a graphics by any word in caption, summary, title, name, folder, type, modified date/time.

RAW GRAPHICS

Raw graphics is in image format.

On the Content navigator of the Pages main tab, in Type, select Image, and then enter what you want in other fields.

Locating a ready graphics not yet in database by file directory

You can locate a graphics by file directory (File > Upload > Upload Images / Convert to editorial image, or Upload Images with Crop / Convert to editorial image).
