You can customize all of box presets but the preset 00, by adding the appropriate lines to the EditorialConfig, using the syntax:

Version 2.3 or newer

<Item Name="BoxPreset01" Value="No border 50% K fill w0/m6,K/100/K/50/0pt/6pt/6pt/6pt/6pt/-/100/0/0" />

Version 2.2 or earlier

<Item Name="BoxPreset01" Value="No border 50% K fill w0/m6,K/100/K/50/0pt/6pt/6pt/6pt/6pt" />

The reserved names you can use are BoxPreset01...BoxPreset15.

You cannot add more box presets, but you can request the support desk to add more presets in the future.

If you cannot find the above listed lines in your EditorialConfig, it means your system is using the hard-coded defaults.

Note

Do not customize BoxPreset00, as it is used to unbox items.
