You can apply color on objects, monochromatic images or text.
To apply a color on an object or a monochromatic image
1.With the normal tool , select one or more objects or monochromatic images.
2.Do one of the following:
•To apply a fill color, on the Area/Image colors palette, select a color from the list.
•To apply a stroke color, on the Rule &Dash palette, select a color from the list.
•To apply a quick color, on a color palette, click the color icon and then in the CMYK color dialog box specify the CMYK components.
3.Select tint of the color.
4.Press TAB or 8.
To apply a color on text
1.Begin text editing, select text, and then on the Color and effects tab of the Character palette, do one of the following:
•To apply color to text, select a color in Color.
•To change shadow color, select a color in Supplementary color: text shadow.
•To change fill color of text outline, select a color in Supplementary color: outline text fill.
•To apply a quick color, on the Color palette, click the color icon and then in the CMYK color dialog box specify the CMYK components.
2.Select tint of the color.
3.Press TAB or 8.
Notes
•To remove color, select [None].
•You must add color W to the color library.
•Quick colors are relative to the object type, thus a quick color set in the Rules and dashes palette is not automatically available in the Area and colors palette.
•If the quick color was already used on the current page, and you didn't create any other quick color, nor you left the current page and returned in the meantime, the quick color is still in the list of the palette where it was created - find it and apply it.
•If the quick color was already used on the current or another page, but it's not on the list anymore, you have two choices: to create it again, with the same values, or to click the object painted with that quick color, which brings the quick color back in the list, and then apply it.
