In Fred4, on the File menu, click Test page, and then read results. Depending on your Fred4 configuration, a custom dialog box may be displayed, letting you select the test criteria

Page testing can be run automatically before printing, if you include the Page.PageTest built-in function in the script which runs printing. It is also possible to test only the current layer (the last parameter of the Page.PageTest should be True).
