To select parts of object(s)

Using the polygon tool , drag a marquee around the corners of all objects you want to select.

To select a point on a path

Using the polygon tool , click a point on a path.

Notes

This works also within grouped objects.

It is not possible to select together parts of objects placed on different layers.

It is not possible to select parts of objects if they are round, or with rounded corners.
