Should a library object remain locked because of application crash or malfunctioning, no one can edit it unless someone unlocks it.

To unlock a locked library object, locate its id and then, on the GN4 IIS server, in the Administrator Command Prompt run the following command:

srv4 unlock -ids xxxx

where xxxx is id of the locked library object.

To locate the id of the locked library object

1.Open it for editing and then on the Layout menu, click Unlock objects.

2.The warning message is displayed, containing the id of the library object.

3.Write down this id and then supply it to the srv4 unlock command explained above.
