Should an object library remain locked because of application crash or malfunctioning, no one can edit it unless someone unlocks it.

To unlock a locked library, locate its id and then, on the GN4 IIS server, in the Administrator Command Prompt run the following command:

srv4 unlock -ids xxxx

where xxxx is id of the locked library.

To locate the id of the locked library

1.On the Library navigator on the Pages main tab, select the library in the list of libraries

2.Click the right-arrow icon next to the list and then select Edit.

3.Read the id at the bottom of the edit dialog box.

4.Write down this id and then supply it to the srv4 unlock command explained above.
