Add guides on a master

| 1. | Open a master page for editing. |
| 2. | Ensure that the guides are visible. If necessary, on the View menu, click Guides. |
| 3. | Click the vertical guide icon  or the horizontal guide icon  in the Toolbox. |
| 4. | Release the left button, and then move the pointer over the page. A thin black rule will follow the pointer. Note: you may read the current position of the guide in the second field of status bar, expressed in default measure. |
| 5. | Click to drop the guide on the page. |
