We recommend to create the following folders:

•C:\TERA\GN4\BIN folder to store all GN4 files extracted from GN4BIN.zip and gn4symbols.zip

•C:\TERA\GN4\BIN to store all files extracted from GN4bin_64.zip and gn4symbols_64.zip.

DO NOT STORE 64-BIT APPLICATIONS IN the C:\TERA\GN4\BIN folder as it leads to a confusion!

Note

These folder are "active" folders, from where you start command utilities (cmd4 and srv4) and Back4 or File4 services. Therefore, before replacing files in this folder, ensure that all the services are stopped and that no scheduled process runs that uses cmd4 or srv4.

Replicate this folder on each and every GN4 server except Exalead servers.
