We recommend to create the C:\Miles33Install folder to store all GN4 files you will download as explained in Download GN4 files and prerequisites. You may also want to create subfolders, named by GN4 type and version, e.g. 1.6_1789 and so on. Use the subfolders to store downloaded files. In this way you can keep multiple versions on the same place and step back easily should the upgrade fail or be buggy.

This folder and its subfolders act as a files repository only.

Replicate this folder on each and every GN4 server except Exalead servers.

Whern downloading a bug fix or new version, make sure you deploy the new version on all GN4 servers.
