Kerning pairs are specific to each font. They are specified in thousandths of the point size. Kerning data are imported from the font during installing GN4 fonts. Some fonts, especially ones that were regenerated with third-party tools, may lack the kerning table. For such fonts, you can enter data manually. See Add kerning pairs in a font.

Wrong kerning pairs may cause various problems in printing and WYSIWYG display.

The maximum number of kerning pairs is 5.000.
